U.S. Embassy Promotes U.S. Higher Education Hosting Second Annual “Luxembourg College Night” – American Style University Fair

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural Luxembourg College Night, which saw close to 500 attendees, the United States Embassy in Luxembourg, through the State Department’s EducationUSA program, will present 30 U.S. universities at a U.S. style student recruitment fair. From major research universities to small liberal arts colleges, and from highly regarded performing arts programs to institutions with a significant focus on technology, Luxembourg College Night will offer attendees the unique opportunity to learn about the U.S. higher education system and to find a university program that suits them.

For the universities attending, Luxembourg College Night will provide the possibility of connecting to a multi-lingual, internationally oriented and diverse set of students ready to take on the challenges and opportunities provided by America’s world class system of higher education.

Luxembourg College Night will take place at the International School of Luxembourg – Lower School on Thursday October 4, 2018 from 1700 to 2000. The event will begin with an information session focused on the application and enrollment process at U.S. universities. From 1800 to 2000 attendees will be able visit the exhibition tables of 30+ institutions.

Attendees will also be able to meet with Luxembourg’s permanent EducationUSA adviser. In conjunction with the U.S. Embassy, Luxembourg’s EducationUSA adviser provides one-on-one support by appointment to students and families and offers accurate, comprehensive, and current information about the full range of opportunities to study in higher education in the United States.
